- Turn right onto the B4393, signposted Llanfyllin.
- Continue through the 40mph zone as you enter Llanfechain.
- Drive past the village for about half a mile.
- Just before the end of the 40mph zone, turn left.
- Wern Oleu is on the right after 300 yards.
From Llanfyllin:
- Take the A490 toward Bwlch-y-Cibau.
- Turn left onto the B4393 towards Llansanffraid Ym Mechain.
- As you reach the 40mph signs for Llanfechain, turn right immediately.
- Wern Oleu is about 300 yards on the right.
